On the third Thursday of the summer months, our club puts on an evening on the dock in support of a cause. This is not a normal “happy hour,” but rather a fun-filled evening with food, adult beverages and live music, each month raising awareness and funds for a different benefitting nonprofit organization. This is a ticketed event, and you can register at www.happyhour4good.org. Once on the registration page, select the date of the event you wish to attend. This month we are supporting CHOICES Education Group (www.choices.org), specifically the SMART CHOICES workshop which empowers eighth grade student to make positive choices about their education and future, and the MONEY CHOICES workshop, which introduces eighth grade students to personal finance topics such as earning, budgeting, saving and spending thoughtfully.
